We are a 3rd generation family-owned and operated orchard in the Brushy Mountains of Northwest North Carolina. We grow over 110 acres of apples, peaches, nectarines, and Asian Pears. We sell our fruit through our roadside farm market on NC Highway 16 in Taylorsville, NC, and through various wholesale outlets. We also sell fruit at the Brushy Mountain and Taylorsville Apple Festivals as well as the King Street (winter) market. We have deep roots in our community and enjoy sharing our fresh fruit and information with our customers and friends.

We manage our fruit using research-based practices, with foundations in Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Our orchard ecosystems are managed in a way that supports pollinators, keeps damaging insects in balance with biological and preventive methods, and promotes soil and tree health. We do not use certain highly toxic classes of pesticides and we are very conscientious about protecting our valuable pollinators. We have a weather station on our farm that is tied to research-based pest prediction models housed by the NEWA network (newa.cornell.edu) and use guidance from the models to help us determine our risk from pests. Our farm is GAP certified in efforts to keep our produce as safe as possible from the field to the consumer.
