Honey, Sourwood
Sourwood honey is the signature honey of our area and is native to the Appalachian mountains in North Carolina. It is coveted worldwide. It is often referred to as "The Cadillac" honey. It’s scarcity can be attributed to the very small amount of sourwood trees growing. The sourwood honey comes from the nectar of the flower on the sourwood trees. It has a smooth texture and tastes like buttery caramel. It is naturally lighter than other honeys. Our honey is pure raw honey. It has a delicious taste.
