About Us
Established in 2020 on 16 beautiful mountain acres just north of Boone, we are first generation family farm focused on sustainably raising high quality proteins and produce. After nearly a decade of farming in Virginia, Brittany and her parents decided to join forces with a goal of providing as much of their diet as possible from the land (vegetables, dairy, fruit, proteins) and supplying the local community with vegetables, eggs, and high quality pork.

Practices
All of our animals are free-range, and free from hormones and antibiotics. Vegetables are raised using organic practices in our two outdoor gardens and indoors in the greenhouse. The greenhouse allows us to start all of our plants from seed, for season extension, and easier pest management.
Pigs are bred on farm, selecting for quality of meat, growth rates, and temperament. The current herd is a mix of English Saddleback, Large Black, Hereford, and Landrace. They are fed non-GMO Appalachian milled grain, are free to roam 4 acres of forest, and are used to turn over our two outdoor garden plots. They live as natural as possible, but have protected shelters to retreat to in harsh weather and for farrowing, and often get treated a variety of vegetables from the garden.
Chickens have access to Organic Feed, and also free range the farm, foraging for a variety of plants and bugs.
Our farm is protected by our two lovable Shiloh Shepherds, Gus and Royal.
