The Valle Crucis Lavender House was created by Madelyn George in 2016 to share some of the magic of Valle Crucis with visitors. The space consists of flower and herb gardens, an outdoor café, little farmhouse spa, product workshop, and two rooms full of homemade products and conscious crafts. Over the past 3 years, the Lavender House has steadily grown to include more homemade products and bigger gardens. We are always working on developing new products, and new tea blends.

Practices
The infrastructure of the Lavender House gardens was created using permaculture principles. Most of the lavender grows in earth-contoured swales that include a polyculture of echinacea, rosemary, yarrow, and lavender. All products are pesticide and insecticide free. Many of the herbs in our teas are homegrown, and those that are not are organic and come from Mountain Rose Herbs or other organic producers.
