The Lily Patch Farm is Watauga County's oldest organic farm, established in 1985. Named for the wild Turk's Cap lilies that flourish here, we are nestled in a 42 acre "hollar" with greenhouses, fields, and woodlands in production. We have a small herd of Nubian goats who are the cutest weed-eaters you've ever seen. New this year is our Pawpaw enterprise- an orchard, seedling production, tree nursery, and fruit sales. We are also a lovely secluded Event Space that is available to rent for parties, weddings, fundraisers, etc.
The Lily Patch Farm is a family farm that holds sustainability in high regard. Sustainability means the farm will be able to continue for next generations; thus we use only organic practices, on-farm composting, and cover-cropping to enrich the farm and make the land healthier each year.
